The train station in Quebec City is called Palace Station (Gare du Palais).
The Quebec City Railway Station is located in an attractive green-roofed building that resembles the Chateau Frontenac. It was built by the Canadian Pacific Railway company in 1915.
Via Rail provides passenger train service from the Gare du Palais to Central Station in Montreal. The train to Montreal takes approximately 3 hours.
The Quebec City Station is also Quebec's central coach station. Coach service in the region is operated by a company called Orleans Express.
