The Civilization Museum in Quebec City explores the province's rich history and culture.
Located in the Lower Town (Basse-Ville), the museum was designed by the Canadian architect Moshe Safdie. It integrates a modern structure with three heritage buildings.
Among the museum's exhibits are ones pertaining to the city's First Nations. Artifacts from the French colonial period are also on display.
The Civilization Museum is called "La Musee de la Civilisation" in French.
