Saint Louis Gate

Saint Louis Gate is one of four city gates that lead into Old Quebec.  It is arguably the most attractive.

Although most tourist attractions are located within the Quebec city walls (city ramparts), a few can be found outside the walls.

The Quebec National Assembly, for example, is situated just beyond Saint Louis Gate.

The other main gate leading into Old Quebec is called Saint-Jean Gate.  It connects Place d'Youville to the Old Town.
